Caffeine in Our Teas

a. Do not use if sensitive to caffeine.
b. Not recommended for use by children under 18 years of age.
c. Not recommended for use by pregnant or nursing women.

Most herbs in Tadin teas have no caffeine. The caffeine in the Tadin Teas comes in two herbs: Camellia sinensis (tea) and Yerba Maté (maté). The amount of caffeine in your cup is influenced by many factors: the mix of herbs in the tea bag, the number of tea bags, the temperature of the water, the length of time you steep the tea, and even the cup or teapot you use.

Black tea and green tea are all Camellia sinensis and all contain caffeine. To give you an idea how much caffeine is in our teas consider this: a cup of green tea has about a third of the caffeine as a cup of coffee.

Quick Tip: Sensitive to Caffeine

If you are sensitive to caffeine and just trying our teas for the first time, consider starting with a half of cup of tea. Give your body time to absorb the tea and have a cup of water. Take a few breaths and see how you feel.

Tadin® offers many teas that are caffeine-free.
